I have been hard at work, and I have published another update!
WHATS NEW???
The big change is that There is native Android and Linux versions!!!
The Android version is only available on Play Store at the moment. It's the same version you can play here but is a slightly smaller download plus touch control options.
I'm going to be real with you, I dead ass don't know whether the Linux Version is going to work. I don't have a Linux computer to test it on nor have I set up a Virtual machine on my laptop. So, if you're running Linux, please contact me and let me know how it runs, that will really help me right now.
Tutorial. I have friends who don't play games, so I added a "How to Play" Section. which has instructions on how to move, attack and Power Ups. The Controls Menu is under it too. It is pretty rudimentary as of now, But I will change it once I gather more feedback.
OTHER FIXES
I cannot get my high score saving system to work as I want it right now, so I have disabled it. You can still view your run's score when you get a game over, but you won't see the high score. I'll fix it as soon as possible. Please bear with me :)
Sound has been upgraded to Stereo! Pretty small change, but it makes a big difference in terms of Music and Sound Effect Balance.
Added Enemy Death Sounds. as well as other Sound effects. There are sound effects when the enemy dies and Asteroids Explode (Crunchy Boom sounds) I also added Sounds Effects for When you use Bombs.
Scaled Up Every game related Sprite (Player Ship, Asteroids, Power Ups and Enemies). I got feedback that the sprites were too small, so I scaled them up for more visibility. The Effects were also scaled up to be more in line with the interactions between the Player and the Interactable objects (Enemies and Powerups).
The Blur effect on the Pause Menu was increased so that the Text in the tutorials can't make the look of the game a jumbled mess (Increases Visibility of the text in the pause menu when paused)
Minor UI Tweaks (UI Elements whilst on the default resolution should be "More Centered")
CHANGES ON THEIR WAY
Better Touch Control on the Android version.
Size of the App/Executable optimization.
Haptic Feedback (Vibration) on Controllers and Android Phones.
